City takeover still on track
Gary Hopkins, the businessman heading up the proposed takeover of Coventry City Football Club by Manhattan Sports Capital Partners has said that the deal is inching closer.
He told the Coventry Telegraph: 'Discussions are on-going with the club and all related parties, which are being held in a very constructive manner.
'We continue to undergo our diligence and evaluation and would like to thank all parties for their help and support as we complete this.
'A lot of work has been happening behind the scenes but as is invariably the case in these situations, patience is required.'
