Williams relishing Reading return
Two impressive performances as part of a winning team have revived Ady Williams's Coventry City career after it looked as though he would be allowed to leave during the transfer window.
He is set to line up alongside Richard Shaw once again as the Sky Blues travel to face Championship leaders Reading on Saturday afternoon.
Welsh international Williams played over 150 times for the Royals before joining City in November 2004 and he told the club website: 'I got a nice reception when I went there last year but it's only nice to go back if you perform and get the result.
'Last year was perfect. We won 2-1 and my son was mascot. I was captain and we won the game and anything like that would be much appreciated.'
The Sky Blues have won on all three occasions that they have visited the Madejski Stadium and Williams added: 'Coventry have got a pretty good record against Reading and if it's even one per cent advantage we'll take it.'
