McSheffrey calls for Blues fan power

McSheffrey calls for Blues fan power

Former Coventry City striker Gary McSheffrey will be suspended for Sunday's game against his former club but has urged Birmingham City supporters to play their part in the promotion run-in.

'The fans can play a massive part in the run-in. The atmosphere has been great recently and it really gives you a buzz,' he told the club's official website.

'But it's up to us to put in the performances; if we perform on the pitch then the fans get behind us. It's great to play in front of a big crowd making lots of noise.

'Hopefully, we can fill St Andrews for the last few home games.'
