Dowie: we can beat Blues

Dowie: we can beat Blues

Coventry City manager Iain Dowie wants his side to keep improving and believes they can get a result at promotion-chasing Birmingham City next weekend.

'We want to go to Birmingham and get a result,' he said.

'It is a huge task because they are riding high with an excellent squad and a good manager and we want to go there and get three points.

'We want to extend that unbeaten run and be hungry for that and make it seven, eight, nine if possible.

'We know it will be difficult and I am sure defeats will happen.

'But if we give a performance I think that is all you can ask, and we have had six games where every performance has improved slowly but surely, which is very important.'
