Blues midfielder linked

Birmingham City's left-sided midfielder Julian Gray has been linked with a move to Coventry City as he approaches the end of his contract at St Andrew's.

The 27-year-old, well-known to Iain Dowie from their time at Crystal Palace, has made only a handful of appearances this season, with the signing of Gary McSheffrey limiting the opportunities available down the Blues' left-flank.

He could be a good signing for you. I think Blues fans have made up their minds that he's never going to be good enough to play for us. I think that's a ridiculous thing to believe but he'll be a good player for someone.

We could do with a naturally left-sided player who likes to stay wide. Fadiga seems to be a short-term measure although you never know.

Not good enough for the premiership.............. send him to Coventry not a message you want to send to other players you may wish to sign.
