'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dowie praises McKenzie display

Coventry City manager Iain Dowie is pleased to have a selection headache after Leon McKenzie made the most of Kevin Kyle's suspension with a goal in the 2-0 win over Hull City on Saturday.

'Leon McKenzie's goal was very pleasing because Isaac Osbourne did well to get a good cross in and Leon has got a good spring on him.' said Dowie.

'I have just had a gut feeling Kyle and Dele Adebola would make a good partnership, but Leon has responded very well after coming back into the squad and has put in a real shift.

'I hope he is going to give me a real selection problem when Kevin Kyle comes back and that is all I can ask of him.'

it was a pleasing win with I thought Issac Osbourne outstanding. Keep it going

I'd agree a good step in the right direction. A couple of months ago this one could have had us worried. I thought Ozzy was superb too but am yet to be convinced that Doyle and Hughes are the combo to get us promoted from this league.

I think if you look at the whole team you will be doing well to pick on any performance as a bad one
