'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Saints starlet on City clash

Southampton's latest teenage sensation is expecting a tricky trip to the Ricoh Arena on Tuesday night as Iain Dowie takes charge of Coventry City for the first time.

'With 13 games left we have put ourselves in with a real shout of promotion,' said 19-year-old Andrew Surman, scorer of a hat-trick against Barnsley at the weekend.

'But Coventry is a tough place to go and just because they are below us does not mean we will roll them over. It doesn't work like that.

'This is a very competitive league and an open league with all the teams capable of taking points off each other.'
