It's A Sky Blue Day In The FA Cup

The City's Marching On...

The Sky Blues are into the Fifth Round of the FA Cup after Max Biamou's scrambled finished saw off MK Dons on Saturday afternoon, watched by close to 8,000 visiting Coventry City supporters.

Mark Robins side went into the game in excellent form in League Two and with the scalp of Stoke City already under their belt in the FA Cup.

The Dons are struggling in League One but showed plenty of spirit for their new manager in a match that could have gone either way until Biamou's all-important goal midway through the second half.

The Sky Blues defence, so solid all season, stood firm throughout and earned the praise of their manager afterwards.

'They could not score and Lee Burge made a few good saves,' he told the official CCFC website.

'We got bodies in front and blocked anything we needed to.'
