Buoyant Sky Blues To Face Managerless MK

Buoyant Sky Blues To Face Managerless MK

Coventry City will travel to Milton Keynes in the FA Cup Fourth Round next Saturday, backed by 8,000 supporters, in buoyant mood after their 3-1 victory against Swindon Town on Saturday afternoon.

The Sky Blues, as they have done all season, bounced back from a disappointing defeat at Exeter last weekend to defeat one of their promotion/play-off rivals in fine style and make it six successive home victories at the Ricoh Arena.

That keeps them firmly in the mix and able to fully enjoy their day in MK against opponents who may be in League One but are on a different trajectory altogether.

Defeat at Northampton on Saturday left the Dons in 21st place in the table and saw them part company with manager Robbie Neilson after a run of just one win in eleven matches.
