Coventry City Move for Brighton & Hove Albion Youngster

With Josh Barrett of Reading already secured until the end of the season, Coventry City`s second loan signing of the January transfer window is set to be Jordan Maguire-Drew of Brighton & Hove Albion.

The 20-year-old comes with recent experience of League Two football from a spell with Lincoln City.

With Marc McNulty in such good goalscoring form, Mark Robins` priority looks to be players who can operate across the front line and offer pace and creativity going forward.

To that extent he may not be too unhappy at reports that Duckens Nazon will be returning to Wolves temporarily before an immediate loan move away from Molineux.

Nazon looked like City`s main goal threat earlier in the campaign but his impact has faded over the past few weeks.

Speaking to the official website about his new signing, Robins said: 'We targeted Jordan during the summer and unfortunately missed out, so we are very pleased to be able to bring him in now.

'He has great technical ability and quality, and is a scorer of goals, so we are delighted to get him through the door and for him to start with us.

'Having got into the top three of the league on Monday, Jordan will supplement our squad very well as we look to establish our position.'
