Narrow Margins Again as City Left Snookered

Narrow Margins Again as City Left Snookered

Mansfield Town inflicted a third 1-0 home defeat of the season on Coventry City on Saturday, the Stags scoring late at the Ricoh Arena to take all three points back to Nottinghamshire.

All three of those reverses have come in games where the home side made the majority of the chances and Mark Robins said afterwards that he feels the Sky Blues remain the 'best side' in League Two while reflecting on a result that he believes Mansfield would find hard to believe.

'They would have been happy with a draw but they are leaving with all three points,' lamented the City boss when speaking to the official CCFC website.

Away fixtures at Lincoln City, next Saturday, and Stevenage the following Tuesday now await the Sky Blues but they will hold few fears for a side who may be starting to think they are better suited to playing on the road.
