City Know What To Ex-pect, Can They Stop It?
Coventry City still occupy a play-off place in League Two, despite last weekend`s reverse at the hands of Cambridge United, and face a good test of their promotion ambitions on Saturday afternoon when they take on leaders Exeter City at the Ricoh Arena.
The Sky Blues scout at Exeter's last game, a comprehensive victory against Crewe Alexandra at St James' Park, should be able to give Mark Robins a good steer on what to expect from the Grecians as they have named an unchanged side for five consecutive matches and look unlikely to change too much from that winning template.
The Sky Blues defence has been solid for much of the campaign to date but Andy Turner of The Telegraph felt they struggled against Cambridge's front two of Jabo Ibehre and Uche Ikpeazu on Saturday, both of the U's strikers getting their names on the scoresheet.
Exeter are also finding joy with an attacking partnership, Reuben Reid pairing up with Liam McAlinden in a fruitful double-act.
'I'm a striker playing up with a partner now - who's equally as big a threat as me - so it means the two centre-halves have got two genuine threats up against them,' said Reid, speaking to BBC Devon recently.
