Keane: Yorke was the difference

Sunderland manager Roy Keane praised veteran star Dwight Yorke after his goal and performance against Coventry City on Saturday.

'I thought Yorkie was different class and he has been for the past few games now,' said the Irishman, whose side were 2-0 winners at the Stadium of Light.

'His experience is vital for us and he's had the added bonus of notching a few goals in the last few games.

'I'm delighted with Yorkie and delighted with the win. Three points, clean sheet and we move on.'

Yorke has been up and down this season but the decision to take him on a Sunderland has proved a stroke of genius.
