Hang on a doodle do! So let me just get this right - we buy an absolute carthorse of a Striker from Sunderland who potentially cost us £1m and conjure's up visons of cow's arses and banjo's and in return we sell them the only player at our club proven to scores goals (ableit that he is Idle 98% of the time!). So now we can sit back and watch Dele, Kyle and Mckenzie deliver Goals! Goals! Goals! I truly despair!! I can only think that 39 of the 40 applications for the managers job must have come from the local Job Centre - who in their right mind would want o get involved in this?! Nevertheless - see you all there again tommorow night to watch as Operation Premiership careers further out of control, over the central reservation and comes to rest facing the oncoming traffic!

I hear what you are saying Nogsy but given the position we're in all we are going to get from John is diminishing returns (as his recent displays have shown). He's the kind of player who thrives in a confident team like at City last season and not the sort to get you out of a relegation scrap. Given his wages and contract situation as well it's a deal that had to be done.

Having just found out that we appear to have got £250k for him (rather than the £75k that was muted earlier in the season when a return to the Blues loked on the cards) I can't disagree that the move appears good sense. My worry is that we seem to be offloading before we have thought about replacing (same applies to Adams). There was a story in a National Paper a couple if weeks ago that a member of the board (who will remain nameless) contacted Andy Gray (Sky Sports) to discuss who would make a good replacement for Mickey should he be give the old heave ho! Apparently when Andy Gray answered the phone it turned out not to be the one from Sky Sports, but instead was the ex Palace player/ best friend of Mickey Adams! - The board member hung up! You truly could not make it up! It is that sort of thing that worries me!!

it feels like we are being asset stripped- i know that isn't the case but I genuinely worry what news I will read next each time I log on. See you all tomorrow- should be good. What do we reckon 0-0 after Luton got stuffed on saturday?

Interesting talk of Newell being in the frame for the City Job?! and INCE?!!!!! Would expect to be on the end of a backlash tommorow. Would settle for a draw at the moment just to stop the rot!

Enjoyed his skill and first touch ,especially to feet, but as we play six feet in the air he's better off gone. Oh for some skill////Kyle and Adebola the new hope?
