The main accolades from the local Non-League scene this season go to Leamington FC, back in the National League after their play-off victory against Hitchin Town secured promotion from the Southern League Premier Division.

Manager Tommy Wright believes the future is bright at Liberty Way with the emergence of some highly-rated young players, telling the Non-League Paper that: 'Our form since I took over in November suggests that we are a play-off side, so we need to be able to prove that and make a real challenge in 2017-18.'
Stratford Town kept their heads above water in the Southern Premier while Bedworth United ended the campaign in mid-table but it was a season to forget for their Northern Premier League First Division South counterparts as Rugby Town suffered relegation.
The Valley could be playing alongside Coventry Sphinx and Coventry United in the Midland Football League in 2017/18, the Coventry clubs enjoying two well-attended derby matches and both making a play for disillusioned Sky Blues supporters with their season ticket offers for the new season, when United will be playing at the Butts Park Arena.
