'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Adams leaves the Sky Blues

Micky Adams has parted company with Coventry City it has been confirmed on Wednesday afternoon.

Adams told Sky Sports: 'I am devastated. I am bitterly disappointed but I understand and respect the decision and I will move on.

'Unfortunately the football industry is such that you do not get time but I genuinely believe I could have turned it around.

'It's not been a disastrous tenure but as I said before I will move on and I want to get back into work as soon as possible.'
