Conference keeper gets City chance

Conference keeper gets City chance

26-year-old Weymouth goalkeeper Arran Lee-Barrett is to join Coventry City on loan as cover for Luke Steele while number one Andy Marshall recovers from an operation.

Although the deal is initially only for one month, the Sky Blues will be looking closely at Barrett and a permanent deal could follow if he does well.

It's a poor state of affairs that we haven't got someone on the books who could be given the chance of being involved with the first-team for a few weeks.

obviosly did not rate Gonzales but as there is no means of regular competitive football away from the first team these problems are going to get worse. Why not a midland reserve league with games played for us at Rugby, Leamington, Stratford etc.

FA are toothless, what 'the four' says goes but other clubs good be more positive and sort it themselves.
