Bookies make Micky sack favourite

Bookies make Micky sack favourite

Bookmakers Bet365 have made Coventry City manager Micky Adams their 11/4 favourite (from 12/1) to be the next Championship manager to lose his job.

Spokesman Steve Freeth said: 'Messrs Peter Taylor and Rob Kelly have had a decent Christmas results wise, but the same can't be said for Micky Adams.

'We saw the Sky Blues fans shouting their disapproval at the boss away at Barnsley in October, but their third consecutive defeat has seen a number of the regulars at the Ricoh calling for his head.

'The rot started at the Hawthorns, where in fairness they were very unfortunate to lose 5-0, followed by Dean Kiely's heroics away at Luton, although the performance against Ipswich on Boxing Day was pretty poor.

'Anything but a victory against bottom placed Southend on Saturday could see the pressure mount on Adams.'

You never see a bookie on a bike. 11/4 are very short odds, wonder if they know something?

You should stick with him, not sack him.
