Micky delighted with win

Micky delighted with win

Coventry City manager Micky Adams admitted his side had the rub of the green with the penalty they were awarded in the first-half, saying: 'The boy (Wayne Thomas) was unlucky.

'As he turned over his shoulder he put his foot up to clear the ball and caught Dele Adebola.

'I've seen them given and seen them waved away. I'm delighted he gave it.'

Adams added: 'Our application was right and in the second half we could have had more.

'It was a hard-fought win and we are delighted.'
