Dele: It's good to be back

In-form Coventry City striker Dele Adebola is relishing his return to the first team after almost joining Leeds United on loan recently.

'I am delighted with my two goals and I couldn't have wished for a better start to my little run of games,' he told the Coventry Telegraph after scoring the winner at QPR and then grabbing a late equaliser at Preston.

'My chances have been a little bit limited.

'New players have come in and stuff, and the manager has got to play them because he can't bring new people in and not give them a try.

'So I have had to wait patiently for my opportunity, and with Stern being injured it gave me that opportunity to play a few games and I think at the moment I know that if you don't do well you don't stay in the side.

'You can't come in and be indifferent because you won't play the next game.

'We have got four good strikers and any one can come in at any time so maybe there has been a bit more onus on me to put in a performance.'
