'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Four-point haul delights Adams

Coventry City manager Micky Adams paid tribute to his side after they earned a 1-1 draw with new Championship leaders Preston North End on Tuesday.

The result comes on the back of Saturday's win at QPR and Adams said: 'We're delighted with the four points and we showed a lot of spirit again.

'If we'd drawn both games we would have been delighted but we've had four points so we're making progress.

'We possibly deserved more and we were delighted with the opening 30 minutes where we created chances and kept Preston quiet.

'We were disappointed to go in a goal down but we rallied and it's a well-deserved point for us.'
