Micky: 'a win is a win'

Coventry City boss Micky Adams admitted his side were helped out by the sending off of two Sheffield Wednesday players as they ended their poor run of form with a 3-1 win at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday.

He said afterwards: 'We have been going through a tricky spell recently but that has happened to me before both as a player and manager at this football club.

'You have to get through it, though you could say we were given a helping hand as it was not a wonderful performance.

'But from my point of view, a win is a win and the important thing is that we push on from this and build.'

I want to apologise to the terrific Owls support who saw us steal 3 pts off them on sat. With 11 men there is no doubt Sheffield would have won that game easily. Having said that, City did what they had to do...just. I fear we will be back to reality against QPR this sat though. Again I have to ask...Duffy:WHY?
