Owls to appeal red cards

Owls to appeal red cards

Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws was unhappy with the two red cards that effectively cost his side any chance of taking three points away from their game against Coventry City on Saturday.

'The two incidents turned the game,' he said after the 3-1 defeat.

'The most constructive thing is that I have learned my players, when facing defeat, will just not lie down.

'Their keper made three world-class saves in the last 15 minutes.'
