Former Coventry City goalkeeper Magnus Hedman has signed a deal with Chelsea until the end of the season.

The 33-year-old comes out of retirement to cover for the injured Petr Cech at Stamford Bridge.

...Darren Currie, Ipswich's tricky winger, is again being linked with a move to the Ricoh Arena. Derby are also thought to be keen on the player and are also close to signing Manchester United midfielder David Jones, linked with City last month.

The Sky Blues have until 23 November to make further loan signings.

...On loan defender Richard Duffy suffered a groin injury during Wales' 4-0 win over Liechtenstein on Tuesday night and was taken off at half-time. Former star John Aloisi netted for Australia in their game against Ghana.

lets hope that that injury puts an end to this Duffy staying with us nonsense. He has proved as uselss as was predicted this last month and was the cause of our defeat to Derby. Send him packing back to Pompey!

hehe Stander...or I could send along a lady of the night to really give him a groin injury! Actually nah...like him that would be a waste of money.
