Sky Blues Make the Headlines

Coventry City featured in a number of national newspapers on Thursday, 24 hours before the return to the Ricoh Arena for the live televised clash with Gillingham.

Speaking to The Independent, Steven Pressley was quoted as saying that the decision by the majority of supporters to boycott games at Sixfields 'influenced the club to return to the city' as he prepares for only his sixth home game at the Ricoh as Coventry manager.

David Conn, writing in the Guardian, talks of Friday night as a 'resounding, floodlit, people's victory' but wonders what will happen if SISU do not manage to gain ownership of the stadium.

'The future is uncertain and true reconciliation remains distant,' he states.
