'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Micky left 'frustrated' again

Andy Griffin's excellent strike settled the Britannia Stadium clash and sentenced Coventry City to their sixth 1-0 defeat of the season.

'It's frustrating but we've got to find the answers haven't we?,' said boss Micky Adams after the game.

'Whenever we score the first goal we always go on and win the game, which is the obvious answer to it all.

'Stern had a great chance and if we'd scored, maybe it's a different game. We were beaten by a wonder goal, it was a great strike.'

It was a poor performance following on from one against Birmingham. The sale of McSheffery is now coming back to cost us as the two players brought in are just not up to it, especially Mckenzie. For whatever reason we seem off the pace and last night we just did not compete. Come on Micky, please sort it out.
