'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Weekend Reaction: Pressley on Point

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley was pragmatic about his side's goalless draw at MK Dons on Saturday afternoon after a game in which the hosts had the better of the play and chances.

Speaking to the official Sky Blues website the Scot said: 'A good start to building foundations is keeping clean sheets along with a good work ethic and delighted with the way the players applied that.'

Pressley believes his side have already played 'three or four' of the best sides in League One and is right to be satisfied by only defeat to date and a haul of five points.

The gloss on that total comes from last week's news that the club will be returning to the Ricoh Arena starting with the Gillingham home game on September 5.

Another tough trip precedes that with Swindon Town awaiting next Saturday but City have the chance to build momentum and mount a play-off challenge this season.
