AS Roma B-eaten by Sky Blues

While the Coventry City hierarchy issued a statement on Monday saying they were ready to talk further about a return to the Ricoh Arena, Steven Pressley's side beat AS Roma's B team 2-0 in a friendly match played on their trip to Northern Italy.

New signings Shaun Miller and Danny Pugh got the goals while Pressley will have been pleased to have kickstarted the pre-season matches in earnest after Saturday's game at Nuneaton was washed out just minutes into the second half.
