CCFC: Goals Need to Come From All Areas

CCFC: Goals Need to Come From All Areas

As Coventry City manager Steven Pressley runs the rule over two forwards currently on trial with the club he will know that replacing Callum Wilson's goals next season will prove a very difficult task.

While the Sky Blues may get lucky and find a 20-goal man this summer it is likely that players in all areas of the pitch will need to step up and improve their strike rate, especially as the main midfield goal threat has also gone with Franck Moussa's move to Charlton Athletic.

To that end Pressley will be looking for new defensive signing Reda Johnson to continue an impressive record of 18 goals in 75 league games for Sheffield Wednesday.

Asked about the trialists, Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph: 'One has been with us for a while, since we reported back, and I'm due to make a decision very soon on him, while the other only joined us this week.'
