Wilson Linked Again as Forest Close on Strikers

After reports on Saturday that AFC Bournemouth have had a bid rejected for Coventry City striker Callum Wilson comes more transfer talk on Sunday with news that Nottingham Forest are set to announce the first two signings of the Stuart Pearce era.

Both players are thought to be forwards with Pearce having made a personal check on Wilson towards the end of last season after being confirmed in the City Ground job.

'We are hoping to announce two signings in Nottingham tomorrow,' he told Sky Sports on Sunday before leaving for media duties at the World Cup. 'We are on the ball, that is not a problem, that is for sure.'
