Murphy Starts to Complete Full House

Coventry City goalkeeper Joe Murphy was named in the Sky Blues starting XI for Saturday's trip to Sheffield United and if he completes the match will have played every minute of every League One game this season.

Manager Steven Pressley had said beforehand that he wanted Murphy to complete an ever-present record despite the temptation to hand understudy Lee Burge an opportunity.

'(Joe) wants to go through the whole season without missing a game. He's played with injury at times when we never thought he would.

'He's played with illness and he's been a true character and leader within the squad this year and I am very grateful for the way he's gone about things.'

Pressley named an unchanged starting XI from the Wolves game with Cyrus Christie making what is expected to be his last appearance for the club.
