Sky Blues Claim Vital Vale Point
Coventry City staged a stirring fightback to score twice in the last ten minutes and claim a point against Port Vale at Sixfields on Sunday.
Jordan Clarke and a stoppage time strike from Callum Wilson rescued the situation after a goal within 37 seconds from Doug Loft and a second from Williamson had put Micky Adams' side in command.
1,627 watched City get the result their endeavours endured and claim a point that keeps them five clear of danger at the foot of League One while also ensuring it is not three straight defeats for Steven Pressley's side who face a tough trip to Brentford next weekend.
Adams' was left shaking his head at the way the game ended, saying: "Up until the last 10 minutes we were comfortable.
"It's unbelievable defending, and when the players see that last 10 minutes I'll think they will be embarrassed. They've switched off and it's frustrating for our supporters."
Pressley felt his side dominated the game and that a point was the least they deserved.
"The pleasing thing for me is that we were a really young team out there. And the young team at 2-0 down didn't compromise the philosophy, we kept passing, we kept probing."
