Saturday's League One Action

Coventry City head into Sunday's game against Port Vale at Sixfields in 16th place in the League One table, four points above the relegation zone.

Crawley and Bristol City went above the Sky Blues on Saturday afternoon after a win and a draw respectively.

Steven Pressley's side can go back above Bristol City with a point against Vale and above Crawley with a victory.

Tranmere were the big winners of the day in the bottom half of the table as they defeated basement boys Notts County 3-2 at Prenton Park, ex-Coventry midfielder Steven Jennings with the crucial winning goal.

Brentford won the big London derby at the top of the table by a single goal at Leyton Orient. The Bees move into the promotion places, a point behind Wolves whose' winning run was ended by a determined Shrewsbury side at Molineux.

Leon Clarke appeared as a substitute for the leaders.
