Arsenal & QPR Youngsters Make City Move

Arsenal & QPR Youngsters Make City Move

Just as Coventry City's season looked to be petering out slightly after the disappointing defeat at Notts County, the Sky Blues have made their last throw of the dice in the chase for a play-off place with a double loan signing.

18-year-old Arsenal forward Chuba Akpom has joined until the end of the season to add to the League One experience he gained from a recent spell with Brentford.

Michael Petrasso, also 18 and a winger, moves from QPR for an initial one-month spell. He has also played in League One this season, making 15 appearances for Oldham.

With recent signings Mark Marshall and Nathan Delfouneso ruled out and doubtful respectively for Saturday's game against Bradford, the new duo may make immediate debuts if the game survives the continuing poor weather.
