Crawley Fallout: J Clarke Praised, L Clarke Off?

Coventry City's two Clarkes are making the headlines on Sunday night following the Sky Blues' 2-2 draw against Crawley Town at Sixfields, a game in which the 'home' side took a two-goal lead inside the last ten minutes.

In the absence of Leon Clarke, defender Jordan Clarke was pushed up front and manager Steven Pressley was full of praise afterwards for his contribution.

'He had more than one shot and worked very hard. It was good for him in difficult circumstances.'

Leon Clarke missed the game through injury but reports on Sunday night suggest that former club Wolverhampton Wanderer as well as Brighton & Hove Albion and Barnsley are keen to sign the player in January and that this has prompted a transfer request.
