Pressley Pleased With Performance

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley felt that individual errors were the only thing standing between his side and a convincing win against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday afternoon.

The Sky Blues had to be satisfied with a 2-2 draw thanks to goals from Franck Moussa and a Callum Wilson penalty having had the majority of the play and chances at Sixfields.

'If we can stop conceding goals due to error then we will be an excellent side and I was pleased with the performance I saw,' Pressley told the official CCFC website.

'I asked for pressing and we got that as well as continuous possession and speed on the counter attack and I felt that our choices were very good.'

Opposite number Steve Davis was satisfied with the final outcome, praising the spirit and determination shown by his players in poor conditions.

The Sky Blues now turn their attentions to the FA Cup replay against Hartlepool in midweek. Colin Cooper's side fought back from two goals down on Saturday to earn a draw at Cheltenham.

After taking the rare opportunity to rotate his side slightly against Crewe, Steven Pressley is likely to reunite Wilson and Leon Clarke and recall Carl Baker with loanees Chris Dagnall and Chris Maguire unable to play.
