Taylor pleased with under-21's

A record Ricoh Arena crowd saw England under-21's gain a 1-0 advantage over Germany in their European Championship play-off first leg on Friday night.

Manager Peter Taylor said after Leighton Baines' late winner: 'We're a very good side with plenty of pace and I'm sure we can go there and score a goal.

'I think we are now slight favourites.'

I hope so...I believe it all went as well as it could. A great atmosphere topped by a truly brilliant goal. Send them to Coventry!
