'If It's Football, It's Vital'

In Praise Of The CT

Ahead of the outcome of Tuesday's creditors meeting, Vital Coventry wanted to give a word of praise to the Coventry Telegraph.

It has faced criticism from all sides, during the Ricoh Arena rent row, that it favours one party or another but without the CT we would all know a lot less about what is happening than we do know (as a fans website it is certainly our main source of information on this issue).

Keeping on top of an incredibly complex story at a time when regional newspapers are facing severe financial restraints, especially given the secretive nature of one of the parties involved and the politics at play with the other.

The newspapers' petition to keep City in Coventry, together with the protest movements that have been developed, has also jolted people out of their complacency about the seriousness of the situation and what it means not just for the club but for the city as a whole
