Argo And See The New Stadium

Argo And See The New Stadium

Coventry City have confirmed the purchase, subject to contract, of a site just outside the city with a potential second site also being discussed.

The majority of people, it is fair to say, are hugely sceptical about the possibility of a new stadium being built (especially on the Brandon site) but the club have certainly listed an impressive array of companies who they say are assisting with the project.

Having just seen Argo, in which the writing, casting and publicity for a film that is never made is the central part of the story, it is hard not to think of that when reading the Sky Blues' plans.

Stranger things have happened though and nobody could really predict the next twist in this particular film.

The Coventry Telegraph is also reporting that no progress was made in talks between SISU and ACL which were thought to have taken place on Thursday. The next time the two parties come together will be at Tuesday's creditors' meeting.

Like most people I'm not sure what to make of this anymore and for the first time ever I couldn't tell you much about our fixtures for next season. Time is running out to save the club, not financially but from people just not caring anymore.

And with less than 300 season tickets sold it seems other people feel the same way.
