Pressley Challenges Sky Blues Starlet

Steven Pressley believes Billy Daniels should be pushing for inclusion in his first-team plans at Coventry City this season after the 19-year-old midfielder signed a new two-year contract

Striker Callum Wilson and defender Aaron Phillips have penned one-year deals.

'To see three promising young players commit to the club on the first day of pre-season is really positive,' said Sky Blues boss Pressley late last week.

Daniels started last season's first league game, away to Yeovil, as part of a City XI that read as follows; Murphy, J Clarke, Hussey, Wood, Brown, Fleck, Kilbane, Barton, McDonald, Ball, Daniels.

A much-changed side will take the field at Crawley on 3 August.
