Palace boss praises match-winner

Palace boss praises match-winner

Crystal Palace manager Peter Taylor was delighted with Clinton Morrison after the Irish international scored the goal that saw off Coventry City.

'His first touch was excellent, and he took Coventry goalkeeper Andy Marshall by surprise,' said the Eagles supremo.

'We created more chances than Coventry, and that goal came out of nothing.

'Clinton has trained very well, and is getting closer and closer to full match fitness. He appreciates that we need four good strikers to be successful.'
