'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Pressley Upbeat With City Stuck In The Middle

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley was left scratching his head at the scale of his side's Easter Monday defeat at Walsall as the impact of the 10-point penalty imposed on the Sky Blues hits home following the holiday period.

Pressley's men now have four games left to try and turn what was supposed to be a play-off chase into a top-half finish.

'I'm really disappointed with the result as I`m sure the fans will be,' he told the Coventry Telegraph.

'We had brilliant support again which just shows the potential of this football club. That's why I came here and that`s why I'm still very excited about what we can achieve.'

Two games in four days having provided a distraction from off-field issues, it's back to the legal wrangling and arguments for City and their supporters this week.
