'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Pressley Upbeat Despite The Big What If

New Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has been an upbeat figure since the day he took the job at the Ricoh Arena and was a happy man to see his under-21's defeat Birmingham City on Monday.

Praising the performances of Jordan Clarke, Jordan Willis, Billy Clarke and Danny Philliskirk, Pressley believes the whole playing side of the club is showing an 'excitement' and a 'fantastic attitude' to training.

The Elephant in the room, however, is Friday's court case which could end the Sky Blues season before the final run-in if a points penalty is confirmed.

Pressley told the Coventry Telegraph that he is 'very, very hopeful' about a positive outcome.

Do hope he is given a fair chance and that promises made to him are kept.

Hopefully his optimism about Friday will be proved right as the club deserves a shot at promotion this time round which will change the game as far as the rent/finances are concerned.
