City Deserve A Ricoh Return

The final result may not look like it but the Ricoh Arena hosted a great occasion on Tuesday night and Coventry City as a club deserve praise for the ticket prices they introduced throughout the Johnstone's Paint Trophy run and also for trying to tempt fans back for Saturday's League One game against Yeovil.

Vital Coventry has received an email offering a 5 discount on all tickets for what is, arguably, a more important fixture.

Few could have quibbled with the effort on show on Tuesday night and there is no doubt the players responded to the huge crowd (perhaps too much in their efforts to get that elusive goal).

A better than average crowd for Saturday's game would be a deserved bonus for the club.
