Sky Blues Versus Latics
Saturday's game (weather permitting) at the Ricoh Arena sees Coventry City take on Oldham Athletic in League One.
At the time of writing the fixture is one of six in the division that remains on with the Ricoh stadium yet to suffer a postponement since its 2005 opening.
The Sky Blues will be looking to move closer to the play-off places by building on their win against league leaders Tranmere Rovers on Wednesday night, a game which the home side controlled for an hour before being forced back by the Merseysiders.
City will again expect to create chances against an Oldham side firmly in the relegation mix and former fan favourite Robbie Simpson, now with the Latics, told his club's official website: '(Carl) Baker is their most creative player and somebody who is good on the ball. Most of Coventry's play goes through him.
'(Gary) McSheffrey has a great left foot and is also a creative player. If we can stop those two providing service to striker Leon Clarke, we have a chance.'
Home boss Mark Robins told the Coventry Telegraph: 'It's great to beat the league leaders because that's a measure of how far you`ve come and what you could achieve. But the Oldham game is just as important because it could make a big difference to our season and if necessary we will have to fight and scrap for everything we can get from any game.'
