Ricoh Memories (Just In Case!) - 2010/11

With the threat of eviction from their Ricoh Arena home still in the air, Vital Coventry is taking a look back at some of the best performances from the Sky Blues during their time in CV6.

The 2010/11 season began under Aidy Boothroyd and his preferred style of play was seen to its most effective in a 3-0 win against Barnsley which left the Tykes manager (one Mark Robins) lamenting his side being 'bullied' out of the game.

Boothroyd was given less than a year to make his mark amidst deepening crisis off the field and his surprise replacement, chief scout Andy Thorn opted for a much-changed way of playing.

The superb form of Marlon King helped Thorn's cause and this was shown to the full when the striker silenced the jibes of Millwall fans with both goals in a 2-1 win in April.

Vote for what you think was the best game at the Ricoh in the Vital Coventry Poll currently running on the site.
