Laws Ready For Coventry (Not Real Madrid)

The Sky Blues face Scunthorpe this Saturday at the Ricoh Arena in a League One clash of two sides who have struggled for form this season but who have hopes of better things under their respective new managers.

Mark Robins was more than satisfied with the way his team went about their business in the 3-1 win against Crawley despite claims from opposition boss that the Red Devils were the better team on the night.

The City manager is squeezing more out of the players he inherited, a process acknowledged by Brian Laws, now back at Scunthorpe for another spell as manager.

He told BBC Sport: 'Mark Robins is a good manager, who has been waiting for a couple of years to get back in, and his enthusiasm and belief has already helped produce a slow turnaround.'

That turnaround faces another test against an Iron outfit who produced the surprise result of the midweek card when winning 4-1 at Walsall in Laws' first league since coming back to the club and the new boss knows that City's reputation at this level counts for nothing.

'We're not making any team look like Real Madrid. They're in League One, same as us, and, if we play well, we'll have a good chance of winning.'
