Houchen tips a Sky Blue struggle

Coventry City make a rare trip to Bootham Crescent on Tuesday night for a Johnstone's Paint Trophy tie against York City of League Two.

The ground was the venue for Keith Houchen's second-most famous piece of FA Cup heroics when he netted a last-gasp penalty for the Minstermen against Arsenal in 1985.

And the Sky Blues legend, who watches York on a regular basis, feels the home side can cause an upset in midweek.

Speaking to The Press, local newspaper of the famous city, he said: 'York have got a bit of momentum and I really enjoyed the way they played last season.

'They've made a big step up and will have to accept losing some matches this season because it's a learning curve but I think York will fancy the match more than Coventry.'

A tough game but with the competition for places we now have the players who start should be on their mettle for it. Get through this and we can start to think about Wembley!
