McKenzie signing pleases Adams

McKenzie signing pleases Adams

Coventry City beat the transfer deadline to land Norwich City forward Leon McKenzie in a deal worth £1m.

Boss Micky Adams told the club website that the 28-year-old was: 'A player who has shown his ability to score both in this division and the Premiership.'

He added: 'Leon has pace, skill and an eye for goal and it gives us added options up front.'

Midfielder Claus Jorgensen meanwhile has joined League One side Blackpool, with his place in Sky Blue history ensured after scoring the first ever goal at the Ricoh Arena.

Interesting to see what the official Norwich site had to say about Leon's departure! Sad to see Claus and Andy go...both will do very well at Blackpool...if Claus can learn to keep his mouth shut when talking to refs.

He started off well for Norwich then seemed to disappear. Reckon he'll bag a few for you!

Indeed thanks for Claus, look forward to seeing him ply his trade at Bloomfield Road! Morrell and now Jorgensen, got any more to spare you don't need?
