Hull join Adebola chase

Coventry City forward Dele Adebola has been linked with Leeds United, Ipswich Town and now Hull City as the transfer deadline approaches.

Last week's signing of Kevin Kyle from Sunderland appears to have put the future of the big man at the Ricoh Arena in doubt although Sky Blues boss Micky Adams had been short of strikers before the Kyle deal and selling Adebola wouldn't help.

'We've got targets,' said Hull City boss Phil Parkinson, who saw for himself the impact Adebola made as a substitute at the KC Stadium on Saturday.

'We're in discussions with one or two clubs and we've got bids on the table for players.'
